“I rang Ruth after seeing her details in Derbyshire Life, and our Local Paper, to ask about the possibility of photographing my collies. I wanted some action shots, in addition to the normal poses, which is not easy with the speed of the collies. An appointment was made, and Ruth arrived at the time arranged. Ruth was very patient, and nothing was too much trouble. We got the results and the beautiful photographs I wanted. Some were done collage style, on a large canvas. This was a gift for my husband. Restoration work
”I recently rediscovered two old photographs of our farmhouse, one, especially in poor condition. It seemed a real shame to lose these old images so asked Ruth if it was possible to either copy and enlarge or any chance of restoring the pictures to secure for future generations.
The results were superb, so pleased. My poorly photo showed no evidence of the damage it had had.

They were 6 weeks old, and very boisterous, and I really wondered if we would get any good shots out of it, as we were looking for real “picture box” poses with them all in the picture. However, Ruth didn’t doubt it for one minute, and spent time and effort on getting all the final details together, even to bringing her own “props” in case mine weren’t sufficient. We moved around, and the atmosphere was very congenial, as Ruth is a lovely person to be around, and put us all at ease – my job was to supply the coffee and Ruth was making sure the job was excellent. The result was pictures of my litter that I am so proud of, and will always remember the fun we had doing the portfolio. I know its not the first consideration when you want something special, but I have to say Ruth, your prices are really reasonable too !!”
